Is Conventional X-Ray same as line frequency X-Ray?
joriselektrospec Answered question June 17, 2024

Yes, conventional x-ray machines are line frequency generators, i.e 50Hz, in a half wave rectified circuit and 100Hz in a full wave rectified circuit.
There are direct 3 phase generators, and in that case the output would be 3 times the line frequency.
